introduction

Nature and my home are major influences on my work. My family moved to an old adobe farmhouse in a mountain valley near Santa Fe in 1972. My husband Reno and I have been working on it ever since, while raising children and pursuing numerous careers. Our house has always been a source of healing, rest, and creative inspiration. So many people have passed through that it is called the Doorway to New Mexico. For years I served nightly feasts to all who appeared. We enjoy much laughter and cross pollination of ideas. My love for the earth results in fruitful gardens.

Our home is featured in Santa Fe Houses and Gardens, Sue Daley and Steve Gross, Rizzoli, 2002.

Starting in 1973, she painted in her old abode in the Santa Fe River Valley.

She painted a welcome home mural on the front of the house in 1974.

She also painted in other locations, such as Chaco Canyon.

From 1978 until 1996, she worked in an upstairs studio on the plaza with a view east to the mountains. Her works have exhibited widely. They are in collections all over the world.
